Colorado Hotel Mistreats Returning War Zone Servicemen

Posted by:

Not since the Vietnam War can I recall active duty military being openly mistreated this way in a public facility. And for an event designated to celebrate returning servicemen from deployment.

Read the story. It’s short, and typical for The Hill, lacking in any curiosity as to what might have prompted this outburst of professional bad manners. At $50/ a head for 600 ($30,000) and $12 drinks(!), I’d think Double Tree -Hilton would be trying to make some financial restitution as well.

I’d like to know if they had a history with the military, or the any of the local Leftwing groups, or just got into a bad batch of weed just before show time. It is Colorado.

Not much more has been reported, as you can imagine. The two senior supervisors (male? female?) are not named, nor did Hilton have any duty to name them. But in a military belt along the Rockies here, I suspect a few military people there know who they were, and whether they were part of any anti-military cabal in the area.

We probably agree that firing’s not enough and they should be pointed to the shortest road north to Wyoming.

But veterans may want to be on the lookout once again, after 45 years, for the temperature is rising once again.

I’ve been writing for several years about leveling the field against the self-righteous Left, when they get out line, just by letting them know we know who they are, and by making them a little more afraid tomorrow than they are today just because we let them know, we know.

You know, give fear a chance.

If you and some of your pals want to form little “dark alley” groups, I’ve published at least 15 articles, from strategies on campus, to schools and local government, even to dousing the flames of congressional staffers. A good list of those articles can be found here, “How many Dead Rose Bushes Will it Take to Cripple the Left Without a Shooting War?”. There are no membership dues or any mailing lists. Your greatest asset will be your anonymity.

I had planned to tell a few stories from the Obama years here at Readers Tales, so will start soon. You may find them enlightening.

Watch your topknot.
